The worst customer service I ever experienced so far! After one month exchanging per email (with a different customer service rep each time), I was told to send my defective Sony ear buds to a repair center, without a case number, without an exact address (I apparently can check that myself on the Internet) and, of course, having to explain everything to them again as the repair centers and the customer service don’t communicate with each others!
After three months, my problem is still not fixed, my warranty ran out in the process and the only useful information I got is that if they don’t find the problem I have to pay (they wrote it in different emails, just so I’m sure they think it’s my fault).
Last time with Sony Germany. Ever.
Sorry. But sony is an absolute disaster. Their decision and products have become worser and worser these days. Their Cyber security is bad and they are also not customer friendly

I am disappointed with the quality and customer service. My Sony OLED 77A80J broke after less than three years and so far there has been no help from Sony. A premium product should last longer! Please finally take care of your customers.
Customer service is really disgraceful here. For me, it’s not about the location or the segment, but about the company policy itself.
In the Playstation store, when you look for a game, you are sometimes only offered add-on stuff, where the description says that you also need the game, but you can simply buy it. Of course you use the name for this and the price is not without its price, so it’s obvious that you start from the game. At first it’s not bad, although misleading, there is support and a return process and it’s my own fault if I let myself be taken for a ride. However, support can only be reached via a chatbot, which always asks for all data. Always because you never get it the first time when you end up having to be put through to a “real” employee, even though all the basic data that legitimizes the return is verified beforehand. But then the queue is so full that you are thrown out straight away. And then you have to enter everything again. But only if you wait a few minutes, otherwise the system will say that it already knows you and couldn’t help you just now, so it won’t even reconnect (no joke!). If you then wait again and enter everything again, of course you have to be lucky that you can do something like that during working hours, because the “real” support is only available from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. anyway. So you’re more likely to try it after work because no one can take a break for hours for something like that (and that’s how long it takes). Okay, then after work. When you get a place in the queue, you spend ages in it… in my case over an hour. And then (even after 6:30 p.m.) you are suddenly sent to the “real” employee, who in turn also writes like a bot… but it doesn’t matter because you can’t answer anyway, at least I couldn’t respond to his request in any of my browsers to describe my problem (which the bot was already aware of) (the text field could no longer be selected).. whereupon you are then thrown out due to inactivity. Which, by the way, can happen throughout the entire waiting process if you don’t regularly confirm that you’re still there. I have never come across a similarly perfect system for getting rid of unwanted customers. Oh yes, of course you can’t write emails or call someone. I was still able to give feedback after the first attempts, which failed with the first bot, but when I couldn’t respond in the end, even this option was no longer available. If anyone even cares.
For me it’s not about these 10 euros, it’s about the principle. And that is not behavior that a company that is aimed primarily at young people and markets “fun” should exhibit. Shame on you.
