I went in today to buy an Apple Pencil for my iPad. After speaking to a sales person, they showed me the one that they had in stock. It was an already opened box and I asked if there would be any ability to get a discount. She said no. Then she walked with me to the front counter without letting me inspect the Pencil myself. I paid full price. After I got home, I opened to find that there is damage to both the stylus tip and the magnetic Lightning Jack cover. I feel taken advantage of to a high degree, and as a foreigner I feel it was due to my difficulties with German.
Nice shop, quite big and with everything you need. I bought a laptop there and, althought I couldn’t choose which one, the shop assistants were quite patient. Here in Bielefeld I think it’s the biggest electronics shop, also bigger than the Saturn in the city centre.
The only “problem” is that it’s a bit far away from the center but it’s ok.
Because i studied here in Bielefeld i needed a laptop. In the netherlands, where i live, mediamarkt is one of the biggest electronic mall and they also have the lowest price guarantee so that’s why i went to mediamarkt. Anyway, i bought the laptop and within 6 months i got an error what the message that i didn’t had any Windows on my laptop, so it was a defect. I went back to mediamarkt to give this very nice laptop back and after one week i received a message with ‘ you need to pay 45 euro’ s for the reparation’. After this master joke i called the nice English speaking personnel and they explained really clear that ‘it could be that i deleted my windows’… I thought that this guy was making another master joke but he was quite serious. I explained him that i will fix that nice laptop on my own and that they shouldn’t try to fix anything because it’s nonsense to pay. By the way : i had a broken harddisk so it isn’t even a software problem. Anyhow I’m quite curious how this nice fairy-tale will end. They will get 1 star of me and that’s because i cannot give minus stars.
Not as big as for example the Saturn in Bielefeld but I would understand it if someone would prefer to buy stuff there
Asked to have a fridge ordered in. 3 days later (after finally managing to get transport there) was told it wasn’t in. Helpful people in store, not so accurate with holding onto items that get ordered in specially.
