Extremely Disappointing Experience at the Apple Store Düsseldorf
I visited the Apple Store in Düsseldorf with a two-month-old iPhone that was clearly defective. After trying everything in-store, including resets, they still couldn’t fix the issue. I was advised by Apple Support on the phone that I should be given a replacement since the phone had a hardware problem. However, despite this clear instruction from Apple’s own team, the staff refused to provide me with a replacement and told me they couldn’t help.
The support team on the hotline was professional, understanding, and quickly confirmed that I was entitled to a replacement, but the Düsseldorf Apple Store completely ignored their advice and insisted I had to wait for further “inspection” even though it was already clear the phone had a hardware fault. Now, I’m stuck having to go through this frustrating process, wasting more of my time when the solution was so simple.
Apple claims to prioritize customer service, but this was an absolute failure. I’m extremely disappointed by how unhelpful and uncooperative the store staff was, and I will definitely be reconsidering future purchases from Apple if this is the kind of treatment customers receive. If you need support, I suggest you avoid the Düsseldorf Apple Store and go straight to Apple Support for actual help.
Apple Store is the best stores in the world. Simple and smart also very good looking. Apple is always unique even their bags or stores. Also the guys work in there is really helpful. I also speacial thanks for Mr.Muhammed, he spent time with me and help me that be sure for outfit of airpods, I found the chance to try to my ears. Thanks!
Came here for MacBook repairs. Mostly a pleasant experience, quick service and friendly staff.
Highly recommended to make an appointment beforehand if you require any dedicated services, like repairs. It’s crowded most of the time, and staff won’t have time to approach you if you’re waiting around. You’ll just have to grab someone who’s available.
But once you’ve found someone, the service is very friendly and quick. Made repairs and returned the machine within a day.
However, one of the technicians looked and sounded annoyed when explaining what was wrong with the machine. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt because English is probably not his first language, so the words he used may not be the best to convey his message. Plus he’s working right before Christmas. I gave this review an extra star because another staff apologised on behalf of the technician’s rude behaviour.
I was here on this date this was posted.
Worst experience ever.
I had an appointment to change my iPhone 12 mini battery.
Left my place at 15:30 because my appointment was 17:00 and this was supposed to be 45minutes journey but because of the Christmas market in the same location there was heavy traffic and they knew this. Due to this I was 50 minutes late just as everyone else. The person in charge was so rude I tried explaining that I left early this is due to the traffic and lack of packing place due to the Christmas market, all he said was it my fault no empathy or what ever. I was not attended to. I even offered to come pick up on Sunday since they open he still said no. The fact that I always bought all my products there is what hurt me more. Ever again. Worst place bad city worst management. I see racism written all over here. Stay away
They take your order. Then send you to a “Bestellung abholen”. Where you wait by yourself for 20 minutes. When asking staff how things are looking, they shrug and walk past. Everything else seems more important. I would not want to go there again.
