The Apple Store in Berlin is not the best place to visit if you’re planning to buy something. The wait for assistance is usually very long, and the shopping process feels complicated and slow. It’s much more practical to shop online. These types of stores are no longer efficient, unless you really need to see the product in person before making a decision. For everything else, ordering online is the better option.
The review I wanna wright is not exactly for the store but for the accessories they offer: I bought from there two screen protectors with the idea that they are stronger and have guarantee. The first month I had to replace one of them, after two months I had to contact the firm which supplies them for a new one. They first offered to send me self applied one because they don’t have in stock. After I asked for the machine applied one which still continues the guarantee, they “send”now 3 times this protector to wrong addresses or wrong names! So in fact you are buying protector without guarantee!!!
The Apple Store is a decent place to shop, but not all employees seem to know what to do in every situation. For example, we only recently found out about the special app you can use to book appointments electronically. Before that, we had to physically go to the store first, and then schedule an appointment for another visit, which was quite inconvenient.
If you have a product under one year old, your chances of getting it replaced are higher, especially if you have solid proof of the issue. Having additional warranty coverage is also a big plus—it makes the process smoother. However, if you do encounter a problem, I recommend collecting evidence and being persistent.
For instance, I had an issue with my AirPods where both the earbuds and the case had problems. Initially, only the earbuds were replaced, but I kept reporting the issue with the case at subsequent appointments. It wasn’t until my last visit that they finally replaced the case as well.
It’s clear that Apple tries to minimize replacements, which is understandable as they aim to prevent misuse of their warranty policy. However, if you have a genuine issue, stay consistent, provide proof, and be prepared for the process to take some time.
Apple needs no introduction. The branch is located on Kurfürstendamm Street. There is no parking space. The place is often crowded. They do not have accessories or Apple Watch Hermes accessories. The service is friendly and nice. The prices are clear. They have tax free.
