HQ oft Gigaset…Global Sales…Marketing…Smart Phones…
So you are simply expropriated and are then allowed to dispose of all the electronic scrap that you have purchased for a lot of money, simply shirking your responsibility since it is insolvency is not possible at all, so you simply have to avoid products from the so-called successor or Vtech
I can no longer recommend Gigaset as a manufacturer of smartphones and cordless telephones. When it comes to smartphones, there are models like the GS180, which were advertised with their removable battery when they were launched. However, you cannot buy this from Gigaset or anywhere else. However, within Gigaset’s guarantee, you can send the ENTIRE device, get all the data deleted and a new device including a new battery. Why does the device have a removable battery?
It is similar with cordless telephones. EVERY Gigaset model we have had so far stops charging the battery at some point. The battery is completely intact (tested in a professional charger), only charging in the handset no longer works. Therefore you can only buy a new phone there. What’s nice, however, is that the cordless phones are otherwise well made and, if it weren’t for the battery problem, they would be a perfect phone.
Bought gigaset smart care, spent half a day installing it, not finished yet. Incorrect documentation, no help function. No customer service on Saturday (authority?).
Example: To connect the app to the system, the app says: Press the button for AT LEAST two seconds. After about 15 minutes with the QR code, printed code and guessing, I figured out that the button was correct for MAXIMUM 0.2 seconds… Just one delicacy of many
I’ve been on hold for 45 minutes because of a broken Gigaset phone. Frustrating service for a high-priced phone.
