So, i had an upcoming online meeting and searched the Mitte area using google maps. “Oh – samsung cafe – this technology hub must be a superb place where to take part in a short zoom call!” was my initial reaction upon finding this place, hence i happily rushed over. Well, after arriving, my dreams shattered minute by minute. First of all – it’s a badly lit (not very bright and not cozily dim either) corner of an electronics store with distasteful interior design and 3 tables. Second – i needed an outlet to power my macbook that was drained from the flight and – voila – there aren’t any! I asked the server where are the outlets, she directed me to a very tight area behind a post and the TV where there were 2 devices already plugged in. She then plugged in my power cable but (even though it is pretty long) it didn’t reach my laptop. Standing there clueless what to do and saying that i need power, she shrugged her shoulders and left. It was out of sheer luck that my meeting was postponed at the last minute so i finished my overpriced icetea and got the hell out of there. In conclusion – i was particularly surprised that an electronics company as distinguished as Samsung would create something so subpar, i still can’t believe it tbh.
So, if you take anything away from this review it should be this – AVOID!
Not too bad. Moderately overpriced, coffee and cakes were okay. The woman at the counter seemed nice. Integration of gadgets isn’t anything special or interesting – basically you just have a couple of them on display but right at your table, nothing more.
Ok food but nothing special.
Good but apple is better
Even by Berlin standards they are rude, especially the manager.
Sell bad quality products.
Poor service.
